Overview: The 3U Rackmount Kit is a high-density rack-mountable tape drive enclosure for direct-attach SCSI backup and archiving applications. The enclosure provides customers with dynamic scalability allowing the customer to add and migrate to new tape technologies as their capacity and performance needs grow. Value-Add hardware features have been integrated which lower the customer's TCO and increase their efficiency in configuring implementing and managing external storage resources.

The 3U Rack-Mount Kit can support up to 2 full-height or 4 half-height tape drives and compatible with multiple Single-Ended and LVD SCSI tape drives including DAT DLT VS80 SDLT 320 Ultrium 215 Ultrium 230 and Ultrium 460 Tape Drives.
