Overview:
The ProLiant DL145 is optimized for the HPC market, designed with industry-leading performance features, including AMD Opteron 200 series processors, with on-board memory controllers, up to 16GB of 2-way interleaved PC2700 memory, an embedded dual-channel Gbit NIC, and a 133 MHz PCI-X I/O expansion slot. The 1U size, low power consumption, and the support for dual Opteron processors provide you with a high performance, low cost, dense optimized solution. This rack model is configured with a 1.8GHz Opteron processor (upgradeable to dual processing) with HyperTransport Technology, a 1MB L2 cache, an integrated dual channel Ultra ATA-100 controller, a 40GB Ultra ATA-100 hard drive and 2GB PC2700 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 16GB). You can configure up to two ATA (2 x 80GB) or two SCSI (2 x 72.8GB) drives for a total of 160GB on ATA or 146GB on SCSI of storage. The DL145 features two USB ports and one PCI slot. The embedded Dual Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet NIC supports 10/100/1000Mbps communication and Wake-on-LAN. The integrated ATI Rage XL video controller uses 8MB SDRAM to deliver crisp, vivid images in 16.7 million colors. There is no operating system installed.
