This 7U tower model is configured with a 2.8GHz Intel Xeon MP processor (upgradeable to four) a 2MB integrated L3 cache integrated dual-channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI controller and 512MB PC1600 ECC SDRAM (upgradeable to 32GB). Since there is no pre-installed hard drive you are free to configure storage to your needs. In addition to a 400MHz bus speed the ML 570 features a 48X (max. speed) CD-ROM drive a 3.5 1.44MB floppy drive 12 hot-plug hard drive bays one 5.25 removeable media bay for tape or optical drives and seven PCI slots (four hot plug). For your networking needs a Compaq NC3163 Fast Ethernet NIC (10/100Mbps with WOL) is built-in.
