Overview:
This 2Gbps hot-swappable Fiber Channel (FC) Disk Drive option helps double the storage capacity of FAStT storage servers to deliver configurations greater than 32TB. This drive when used with the fully configured 14-bay FAStT EXP700 Storage Expansion Unit can deliver a 2Gbps FC solution supporting more than 2TB of high-performance storage in 3U of rack space. The FAStT700 Storage Server configured with 16 FAStT EXP700s using this drive module provides a full end-to-end 2Gbps FC storage solution of more than 32.8TB. Also this disk drive option can be used with the FAStT EXP500 Storage Expansion Unit and the FAStT200 Storage Server operating at 1Gbps FC speed doubling the capacity of these FAStT family models as well.
