Overview:
Hot-plug power supplies for the ProLiant BL p-Class infrastructure are housed in a ProLiant BL power enclosure. Power supplies convert 200VAC-240VAC to power server blade enclosure. The power supplies are front-accessible hot-plug and 1 + 1 redundant. The power enclosure must be mounted in a rack below the server blade enclosure that they power.
The three-phase power enclosure holds a maximum of six hot-plug power supplies. One power enclosure can support up to one half a rack of ProLiant BL p-Class server blades redundantly. Two power enclosure can support a full 42U rack of ProLiant BL p-Class server blades redundantly.
Note: Power enclosure and supplies are not needed if using facility DC (-48V 10%). If using facility DC only Facility DC Power Connection kit part number (240563-B21) is needed.
