Overview:
The ProLiant DL560 is a groundbreaking ultra-dense 4-way server designed for environments that require high levels of computing power while maintaining maximum cooling and power efficiency. It combines Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) with the next generation of performance technologies to give you more control and performance in the same space-saving form factor. This rack-mount model is configured with (2) 2.8GHz Xeon processors (expandable to 4) a 2MB ECC L3 cache an integrated Smart Array 5i Plus controller and 1024MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 12GB). Because there is no pre-installed hard drive you can configure storage to suit your needs. The two open hot-swap bays allow up to 293.6GB of storage (2 x 146.8GB). In addition to the 400MHz bus speed and ServerWorks GC-LE chipset the DL560 features a 3.5 1.44MB floppy drive a 24X (max. speed) CD-ROM drive and three free PCI slots. The dual network adapters support 10/100/1000Mbps communication. The integrated 1280 x 1024 16M color on PCI local bus uses 8MB SDRAM. There is no operating system installed. Supported operating systems include: Microsoft Windows 2000 Windows Server 2003 Novell NetWare Linux (Red Hat SuSE) and UnitedLinux.
