All drives are pre-assembled onto hot-swap trays so installation is quick and simple. Ongoing advancements in areal density technology allow twice the data to be stored on each platter than on previous 10 000rpm disk drives. This hard drive is supported in the hot-swap drive bays of the Netfinity EXP10 or Netfinity EXP15. -The Netfinity EXP storage units require a dedicated SCSI channel and are not supported in configurations that split the SCSI bus for internal and external devices.
